This Week 3/23 @HOPE for Portage

Ways to Pray & Praise this Week for our Community:
1. Prayers for our Community: Evangelization of Every People~ In Seek God for the City this week, we are praying for the evangelization of every people group on the planet! This is a huge task!!!! Pray for the unreached people groups throughout the world. There are places that the light of the gospel has not yet penetrated. While praying for those around the world, pray for your neighbors who have yet to put their trust in Christ Jesus as their Lord and Savior. As we enter this Easter season, may now be the time to share your faith with them. Pray for opportunities to witness and boldness to declare Jesus!
2. Church/Ministry of the Week: Portage Missionary Baptist Church
We thank God for Portage Missionary Baptist Church. They love the Lord and are faithfully serving Him. Please pray for God's blessing & leading for this church. We thank God for their senior pastor, Jeff Scheffee, and the believers there. May they be a bright light, shining for Christ in this community!
3. School of the Week: Maranatha Christian School
Please pray for Maranatha Christian School in Portage. Thank God for the teachers & staff who serve our community daily. Pray for guidance and wisdom for each teacher and staff member. Pray for the students to desire to learn and grow, fulfilling their God-given destiny. Pray that all teachers, students and staff, would know and follow Christ as their Savior and Lord.
4. Watchword for the week from Scripture: By grace you have been saved through faith, and this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God. Ephesians 2:8
