This Week 4/5 @HOPE for Portage

Here is what's happening this week....
HOPE for Portage, A House of Prayerful Expectation

Ways to Pray & Praise this Week for our Community:
1. Prayers for our Community: Easter Week~ As we enter into Holy Week, pray for the many who will be coming into our churches that do not regularly attend. Please be praying for those visitors that they might see their need of Christ and begin a personal relationship with Him. Ask the Holy Spirit to soften their hearts and draw them. May Resurrection Sunday be the start of a new relationship in their lives. Pray for your neighbors and co-workers this week. Is there anyone you need to invite to join you Easter Sunday?

2. Church/Ministry of the Week: First Baptist Church
We thank God for First Baptist Church of Portage. We praise God with them for bringing their new pastor, Pastor Terry Gibson. Please pray for this congregation and leadership. May they fulfill the call God has for them. May they be a bright, shining light for Christ in this community.

3. School of the Week: South Haven Christian School
Please pray for South Haven Christian School. Thank God for the teachers & staff who serve our community daily. Pray for guidance and wisdom for each teacher and staff member. Pray for the students to desire to learn and grow, fulfilling their God-given destiny. Pray that all teachers, students and staff, would know and follow Christ as their Savior and Lord.

4. Watchword for the week from Scripture: Jesus said, "...'you will see the Son of Man seated at the right hand of the Power,' and 'coming with the clouds of heaven.'" Mark 14:62
