1. Pray for the elections in our region & nation: This is a pivotal election! Today's newspaper shows Indiana at a dead heat. Each vote is critical!!! We are making decisions that will affect our state and nation for decades. Please pray! Please vote! Please pray for God's will and His mercy to be poured out over our nation. Please pray for the body of Christ to walk in His righteousness, love, unity and grace no matter what our party affiliations. Pray for each candidate and their families. May they walk in righteousness and obedience to God's word. May they walk in truth and integrity. May God's kingdom come and His will be done in our nation!

We thank God for Central Baptist Church! Please pray for God's blessing & leading for this church. Thank God for their pastor, David Webb, the other pastors there, as well as this congregation of believers. Praise God for them! May they be a shining light for Christ in our community. May Christ's kingdom expand through His body in this region and beyond!

3. School of the Week: Aylesworth Elementary School
Please pray for Aylesworth Elementary School. Principal is Mary Tracy. Thank God for the teachers & staff who serve our community daily. Pray for safety of each one there. Pray for wisdom and insight as they minister to our children!

4. Praise & Pray for Upcoming Community Outreaches & Ministry Requests:
Child Evangelism Fellowship: CEF coordinator, Beth Harmon, is asking for prayers for favor and wisdom as she meets on Tuesday with a South Haven area principal about starting a Good News Club there. Please pray for more schools to open to CEF and the volunteers needed to run the programs. Children are coming to know Christ through these clubs! Oh, that all the elementary schools in this region would have Good News Clubs!!!! Currently, Jones Elementary is the only Portage school offering the program.
Neighborlink Porter County: This is a new ministry in our community. They show the love of Christ through practical acts of service. Please pray for Larry & Judy Alders as they oversee this outreach. For more info, visit their website www.neighborlinkpc.org

Bracy Bean: serving in Moldova & Armenia with Convoys of Hope until December
Pastor Randy Forsythe, Michele Burton, Sonya Lindgren & Dan Flowers: They have returned from Nigeria. They were able to serve a local ministry there. They saw 9 people come to know Christ in one of the villages they served. PRAISE GOD!

296 is the number of known salvations reported so far for 2008 in our community.
We praise God for each one who has begun their walk of faith in Christ!
Pray that they would be rooted and grounded in the faith.

Raising Awareness & Funds for Gabriel's Horn Homeless Shelter

6:30pm Glenda Owens will be sharing about the mission of Gabriels Horn
and needs in our community. Mayor Olga Velazquez will also be speaking
